In 2003, Andy Schoofs established Schoofs GreenWorks on the principles of honesty, integrity, and commitment to service.
Throughout his 37 years in the green industry, Andy learned the ins and outs of running a trustworthy and competitive lawn, landscape and tree service business. He enjoys the challenges of problem solving and always seeks the best practical solution with a flair for beauty. His work speaks of his attention to detail and constant striving for excellence.
Andy is also committed to his bettering his industry. He rode his bicycle in 6 Tour de Trees, raising funds for ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) tree management research. During each weeklong tour, Andy rode between 600-900 miles and helped to raise awareness for the need for continued research on the care of our trees.
Both Andy and his wife Bonnie have a strong commitment to stewardship in their community. Married since 1979, they have three beautiful adult children.
Andy served as a Cub Scout Master and as an Assistant Scout Master helped found Boy Scout Troop 139 in Hubertus, Wisconsin. Both of his sons earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Andy also served as a soccer coach for the Richfield Youth Soccer League and a basketball coach at St. Gabriel School in Hubertus. Bonnie is a teacher at St. Gabriel School in Hubertus.
Andy and Bonnie are also active members of their church community. They serve as church musicians, and Andy is a past parish council member.
